Dr. Dorcas Adepoju

Dorcas Adepoju, MD, has been practicing psychiatry for more than two decades and is deeply committed to providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively with underserved populations, including serving in community mental health centers in rural Arkansas and caring for individuals experiencing homelessness in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Adepoju has significant experience treating severe and persistent mental illnesses such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, along with depression, anxiety, PTSD, adjustment disorders, and co-occurring psychiatric and substance use disorders. Her approach to care is patient-centered, thoughtful, and focused on improving overall well-being and quality of life.

In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Adepoju supervises psychiatric nurse practitioners at Insight Mental Wellness and other psychiatric practices across Texas. She is also passionate about promoting mental health awareness and enjoys educating the public about mental wellness and psychiatric care.
