Dr. Cornelius Nau Jr is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist dedicated to helping patients achieve better mental health through compassionate, individualized care. He enjoys working with a broad spectrum of psychiatric disorders and utilizes the biopsychosocial model to guide patient assessment and treatment planning.
A native of San Antonio, Dr. Cornelius Nau Jr has practiced in the community throughout his career. He earned his BA from Austin College, received his MD from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and completed his Psychiatry residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Cornelius Nau Jr enjoys off-roading with longtime friends. He believes this is an exciting time in psychiatry and looks forward to collaborating with patients on their journey toward improved mental wellness.
