Susan is trained in providing trauma informed care and co-occurring psychiatric disorders and substance use disorders. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), talk therapy, mindfulness, art therapy, motivational interviewing, psychoeducation, teaches problem solving skills, person centered, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy and conducts group therapy such as groups for transition aged youth, self-esteem and grief. She is also able to incorporate faith based counseling by request.
