Mental Health Access Program (MHAP)

Providing Accessible and Affordable Mental Health Services to Texans in Need

At Insight Mental Wellness, we believe that mental health care is a basic human right, not a privilege. Our Mental Health Access Program (MHAP) is specifically designed for individuals and families in Texas who are uninsured, have low income, and are in need of quality mental health services.

Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, trauma, or need support through life’s challenges — MHAP exists to bridge the gap between need and access.

What MHAP Covers

Once approved, eligible clients may receive:

Includes psychiatric evaluation with licensed Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs).
